Atelier Chauvance
Chauvance Atelier is based in Geneva, at the beating heart of watchmaking history. In their own words, Chauvance is the partner to your “timepieces”. We have been working with Chauvance since 2021 to design their prototypes and extra limited edition series. This case is the culmination of many expertises.
Firstly, we expertly laminate the mahogany veneer onto the MDF. Next, we cut out each piece of the case’s structure by hand and pass it through our three-axis CNC machine to precisely carve out the holes for each fitting.
What follows is a choreographed dance between varnish lacquering and screen printing (in rose gold and midnight blue), for a highly polished finish. Finally, the interior lining overflows with the soft-to-the-touch midnight blue Chamel fabric, hot stamped with rose gold.
